ABOUT ME
I am an experienced landscape architect based in Brooklyn, NY. I am passionate about designing sustainable and beautiful urban environments for people.
I decided to pursue a career in landscape architecture during my year in Americorps working with low-income youth in South Minneapolis. I saw how the design of the urban environment shaped the quality of my students' everyday lives and experiences, and I was inspired to creatively improve these spaces.
I hold a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, I focused on urban landscapes and received a certificate in Urban Design. While in grad school I interned at the Philadelphia City Planning Commission, where I contributed research, writing and graphics to the Philadelphia 2035 Master Plan and worked on streetscape improvement and urban design projects.
I began my career at Crowley Cottrell in Boston, MA, where I was a project designer on a range of projects including the Norwich University campus improvement, McGlew Park in Salem, MA, and Kuehn's Way workforce housing in Martha's Vineyard. I worked at Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects from May 2018 to May 2023, where I worked on a variety of complex projects in the urban environment, including Bogardus Plaza, The East Side Coastal Resiliency Project, and several public parks in Buffalo, NY with New City Parks, including Roosevelt Park.
In May 2023 I began a new chapter as a Project Manager in Landscape Architecture at the Central Park Conservancy.
